The BR111 solid
5/16" product will serve as a
functional exotic hardwood floor at
substantially lower prices compared to traditional 3/4" products being sold
elsewhere. Some buyers tend to be
apprehensive with thinner solid hardwoods.
However the floor will perform just as
well as the thicker one, provided subfloor
flatness is given high priority. Compared to the
traditional 3/4" line, expect shorter
pieces within this three inch wide plank group during the actual
installation. Proper staggering of end joints
can become repetitious as many pieces will be 24
inches and under with occasional 55 inch
lengths.
Although the company
allows the direct glue (trowel spread)
installation of this line, we suggest the work
be done by experienced professionals with this
type of application.
